CARICATURES
I draw and watercolour caricatures. These make unique and personal gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, weddings, events, corporate teams, sports teams, with as much or as little detail as you wish - you name it and I will draw it.
I prepare these from photographs and a list of personal characteristics, hobbies, likes, dislikes, unusual or memorable events, experiences, in fact the more quirks the better! I will weave these characteristics together to make a one-off personal cartoon. Any size, from A5 to BIG.
These make wonderful personal gifts, and can be a simple card or a "This is Your Life" in cartoon. The detailed paintings take a lot of time to research and prepare, so please give me as much advance notice as possible.

The most popular caricatures are ink and watercolour paintings, on watercolour board. You will receive the original, not a print.

Sized to fit standard size frames
14” x 11” or 16” x 12”.
I can also provide black and white, and have produced larger artwork, so if you have anything special in mind, please ask.
Requirements
I require good quality, close-up, smiley photographs, face not hidden by sunglasses etc. A list of interests, job, hobbies, memorable events, likes and dislikes, personality quirks... in fact anything you want drawn or referenced in a detailed painting.
Groups of people, for example a football team, or Board of Directors, can be drawn at a larger size.
I do not frame, but if you supply a frame, I will happily frame and seal for you.
